Severe Neck and Back Pain

I came to you over a year ago with severe neck and back pain.  Although, I had lived with this problem since my youth, and had been attended by numerous Chiropractors and Osteopaths over the many intervening years, the pain persisted.  In desperation my wife saw your commercial and - insisted - that I see you!

Today, I feel better than I have in decades!  From the very first session, everyone has been professional, helpful, understanding and kind.  The fact is I have never had the care, attention, and level of "just right" treatment that you have given me over the last year!

Alternative to Taking Pain Medication

When I first came to you six months ago, I could barely move my neck without pain and my back was getting worse each day.  Living in pain had been a way of life for me for quite a while, and I had been able to ignore it and go on. But it was getting to the point that I could not ignore it anymore and the pain interfered with my ability to care for and play with my son, as well as my ability to do my job.  You provided me with an alternative to taking pain killers all the time and showed me a way to be healed.  I had been to a Chiropractor before, but not for the intensive type of treatment program you offered.  Not having any insurance, at first I thought there was no way I could afford that kind of treatment program.  But after thinking it over, I decided that for my son, I couldn't afford not to go through with it.  And I am so glad that I did!

Since that first treatment, I have had some soreness (and doubts) at times.  But I have also noticed the increase in my energy, better mobility, better sleep, no pain killers, and best of all...the abiltiy to run and jump and play with my son again!  I feel at least 10 years younger now.  And the final proof was in the last EMG and x-rays, which showed the progress that has been made.

Migraines

Since I was 4, I have had this problem called Migraines.  I would go to my Mom and Dad crying, because it hurt so much and sometimes I would puke.  I did not get to do a lot of fun things because my head always hurt so much.  I have been to a bunch of Doctors and none of their medicine would help.  I started to come see you and now I am feeling a lot better.  I haven't had a Migraine since I started coming here.  This year I joined a running club and every time I go I don't get a Migraine.

Severe Back Pain - Severe Deterioration

I'm writing to thank you for your outstanding diagnosis and treatment for my severe back problem.  I suddenly suffered a severe back problem that was not related to any specific injury or strain but evidently the reslt of severe deterioration in the spinal area over my 85 years of active and vigorous activities.  The pain was such that I could not sleep in bed or even sleep in my recliner, and pain pills did not alleviate the pain.  Further, I could not stand or walk erect, and I needed a cane to enable me to walk at all.  I was at a loss as to what remedial course I should follow.

Praying as to what I should do, I believe the Lord led me to your services.  Frank D., my neighbor and one of your patients, came to me and mentioned Chiropractic as a possible course of action.  I agreed to give it a try, and that very afternoon, I was at your Center for an evaluation and start of treatment.  I firmly believe the Lord led Frank D. to me and also has given you Chiropractic Doctors the knowledge and skill to diagnose my need and then prescribe the necessary treatment process to restore me to good "back health".  Your Chiropractic adjustments may cause me to grunt and groan a little (smiling), but they are certainly effective!

I thank the Lord that I was led to you and that after the initial daily treatment process, I am now down to a weekly schedule.  I feel improvement after every treatment and am now just about back to where I was before I began your excellent program.  It's been a "long haul" since that first day in your office, but I surely thank you both for what you have done for me.

Travels to Fredericksburg for Chiropractic Care

This is a Thank You letter.  I wanted to let you know how wonderful you and your staff are.  When I moved to Fredericksburg I was so happy when my massage therapist referred me.  I had been seeing a DC since 1980 and could not live without my maintenance visit.  That was seven years ago and even though we moved to Richmond three years, I still make that short drive every month for my maintenance visit!  Thank you so much for everything you and your staff do for me and everyone who is blessed by entering your office!  As long as we are in the same state I will see you every month for that great smile, big hug and much needed adjustment!

Poor Posture and Back Pain

A most sincere Thank You.  For a remarkable turn-around regarding my back pain and poor posture.  I truly never would have considered a Chiropractor had my best friend not recommended me to you.  I have been through back therapy and just didn't feel as though it was working for me.  After one visit with you I awoke the next morning with totally no back pain.  It was so amazing and until you experience it for yourself you just can't even imagine.  I am so incredibley thankful to you for making me feel like a new person.  Thank you for your kindness, gentle way and concern that you have for your patients.  I appreciate all you have done and continue to do for me and I truly believe that you are in the right line of work.

Reflux As a Child

Thank you for helping me to be so well.  You know that I had a rough time with reflux when I was a little baby.  Mommy and Daddy didn't know what was wrong even though I told them over and over, day and night.  Two months later, when they finally figured it out, they did all this crazy stuff like making me sit up to nurse and propping up my bed.  It helped a little but not enough.  Then, Mommy and Daddy gave me medicine.  The first one didn't work, so they added a second one, then they made me take extra of it.  I hated it, they hated it, my grandparents hated it (my Nana even ran me out of the room once when it was medicine time!) but for some reason I was still taking it.  And I was only a little bit better.  At my four month check-up the doctor said to keep taking the medicine but that I'd just have to outgrow the reflux.  We were all miserable.  That's when Madelyn saved the day.  She told me that her Mommy used to work for you and that you helped babies feel better.  Madelyn even came to be adjusted on the way home from the hospital when she was born.  So I told Mommy and Daddy that we needed to come see you too.

The day after my four month old check-up I came with Madelyn to get adjusted.  I giggled during my first adjustment because it felt so good.  That afternoon Mommy noticed that I felt better.  She and Daddy talked that night and decided to stop my medicine.  I never took the medicine again and didn't have reflux anymore.  The nurse that ran the baby group I went to even asked for your card because she noticed how happy I was the week after I got adjusted.

You are one of my favorite people.  Mommy always tells people that they should see the way I look for you when I hear your voice.  Everyone at your office is so nice.  I really like coming to see you and I tell all the other babies (and grown-ups too) that they should come to see you!

Low Back Pain

First let me just start by saying thank you!! I have been suffering from lower back pain since the mid 90's but by the early part of 2000, my condition worsened.  I was losing my ability to do simple tasks like play with my children or drive for longer than 20 minutes.  During the years I had tried 4 different Chiropractors, physical therapy, and pain management.  I had been on Vicodin, Flexeril, Ultracet, Tylenol w/ Codine and Vicodin ES to try and help me cope with the pain, and none of them helped.  My back pain was interfering with my everyday life and was taking its toll on me emotionally.

I am a mother of 3 and was unable to pick my children up or just play with them.  Everything I did caused me pain.  I currently work 2 hours away from where I live and the drive was becoming harder and the pain was increasing.  The pain had become so intense that I had started to consider back surgery.

Then I found THCC!  Dr. Bill, I cannot express to you enough how thankful I am for all that you have done.  I have started to feel some relief and am now able to enjoy my kids, drive back and forth to work, and do all those things that one does on a daily basis without the constant ache.  The pain now is minimal and I have no doubt that with ongoing therapy, it will totally subside.  You and your staff have been so professional and caring that I feel I have gained more than just pain relief.  So thank you again for all that you have done.  You and your staff have been wonderful and I will be forever grateful.

 Life Threatening

I'm writing this letter to sincerely thank you.  I'm also writing knowing that others who visit your office for care will be reading this as I to read the letters that hang on your walls.  This is my testimonial.  On 11 January 2000, I was injured when an ammunition explosion occurred at my place of employment.  I sustained life threatening complex, multiple injuries.  Including burns, degloving of both thighs, a potential loss of both legs, loss of my right eye and penetrating injuries from literally thousands of metallic fragments.  Of which approximately 2,000 are still embedded from head to toe.  My injury has been likened to that of a war injury.

In the past five years, I have been to many Doctor Specialists and Physical Therapists.  I spent three years in and out of physical therapy, and one entire year with a pain management doctor who after all else recommended surgical electrical implants along my spinal colum to relieve pain.  Luckily, I chickened out and did not have the procedure.  I dealt with the pain and continued to take pain medication.  I knew I could not continue this regime and stay healthy.

One Sunday evening, I was reading the paper and saw an add for Total Health Chiropractic Center and figured what the heck.  I've tried everything else.  Couldn't hurt to try!  Here's where my story gets good.  On my very first visit I received an adjustment.  I literally FELT the difference.  I thought, this can't be possible...  So I continued treatment/adjustments and each week I began to realize that I was doing things I had not been able to do since the accident.  Things I forgot I could do and some things I thought I'd never be able to do again.  I can walk without pain, I can bend without pain and I can sleep without pain.  Practically every aspect of my life involved pain.  Not anymore, not now.

You would think a letter like this would be easy to write, but it's not so easy to find the right words to express just how sincere I am.  Thank you for changing my life and giving me hope...knowing that I don't have to spend the rest of my life in pain means everything to me.  Chiropractic care has given me my life back.  I don't have to spend my time on the couch or in bed.  Now there is new meaning for me.  I would also like to thank your staff, I look forward to coming to your office.  No matter my mood, by the time I leave I'm happy.  I wish every doctors office I had to visit was like yours.
